The Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission funds research on apples, cherries, and stone fruit.  In addition, WTFRC supports technology research benefiting the tree fruit industry.  WTFRC administers funding for pears via Federal Marketing Order #927. Research is funded based on per-ton assessments collected on tree fruit produced in the state.

We have contracted with Submittable, a grants management software company to help streamline the granting process.  This site currently is used only for technology submissions and hope to launch other applications in the future.
